Three could be strength, inspiration and coexistence. It could be resilience, tenacity, ambition, our work, jewelry. Three could be an emotion: that we are not alone in our art, in the everyday reality of running a small business, that there is someone who understands, who listens. Three is also joy – that special joy of living in Athens, even if we walk along broken pavements, among Airbnbs that spring up constantly out of nowhere, restaurants, hotels. Three is sharing and talking and laughing. Three is, above all, acceptance of the whole through the forces of individuality – respecting and understanding one another, with their virtues and their faults, their achievements and their mistakes.
Three feels like it was always waiting to happen, but we know that we are much more than a number. There are more of us. Because three is all of us.
OK! What can I say about this creature, Kalomoira, whom I met while working at my first studio, back in 2012. I think that, since that time, I hold her in my mind as that spontaneous soul and personality that I can see in this photograph.
We came even closer when the store brought me to the neighborhood, and we effortlessly exchanged – and still exchange – meaningful words, even if we don’t see other every day.
I have loved her from the start, I have admired her for everything she has achieved with her brand, Prigipo, and I admire her even more now that I’m getting to know her as a friend. I consider myself lucky that our paths crossed! It’s not at all easy to develop selfless relationships in a common “profession”, especially under difficult conditions!
I am proud of you, Kalomoira, and I am proud of both us, for growing and learning together. To many more moments of sharing!
Katerina, a vibrant, beautiful woman, whom I’ve watched flitting cross the neighborhood on her scooter like a whirlwind even since our store was created on Petraki street.
Even before I connected this woman to her jewelry brand, Katerina Psoma, I was thinking how nice it would be to talk to her, how much you might learn, the wonderful stories she would tell. And I wasn’t wrong!
I got to know her better when I met Margarita and, through her eyes and her words, my admiration for her grew before we’d ever met in person. A woman with exceptional style, inside and out! An entrepreneur and designer, a mentor, who fills you with hope and always shines her special light upon the beautiful sides of life.
Katerina is exactly like her jewelry, bursting with of color and sound, multilateral and multiform, drawing your attention no matter what’s happening around you. To many more moments of sharing!
